There are many ways to learn mindfulness. I would recommend you start nice and easy rather than diving in too quickly. Pick an approach that works for you. Some people like to begin with a book. If you, perhaps you may like to try Mindfulness for Dummies. It’s now in its 3rd edition and has been translated many times for audiences globally.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed with stress, I wrote a book called The Mindful Way Through Stress which includes an 8-week course and guided mindfulness audio tracks you can listen to every day.
