Stay mindfully CALM in a Pandemic Outbreak

In this week's video I share 3 tips for staying mindfully calm during this pandemic.

In summary they are:

1. You are not your thoughts

Identifying with thoughts can cause huge suffering. Learning the skill of stepping back has been proven to help you act more flexibly.

2. Whatever happens, happens

I explain the power of believing in less control and more in fate - do your best and then, whatever happens, will happen. Control can cause a lot of extra stress that you don't need.

3. Slow down to half speed

There's value in doing activities from time to time, at half the normal speed. Doing this automatically makes you more mindful as your brains resources can be allocated to being more conscious.
